Bas Knopper Chairman of the NLJUG Innovation Award Jury

Based on his passion for Java (Development), Bas has been involved with the NLJUG since the beginning of 2019 as the driving force behind the NLJUG Academy and is also Chairman of the NLJUG Innovation Award and has been part of the board since 2021. In daily life, Bas is CEO of Sparkler: an ecosystem of IT companies where craftsmanship & knowledge sharing are central and of which several companies are active within the beautiful Java Ecosystem.

Within the board, Bas is besides the Innovation Award concerned with the NLJUG Academy. An initiative with which the NLJUG connects education (students/developers, teachers and educational institutions), companies and developers (even) more actively!
